Coverage and method
The CFTC leg is lithium hydroxide and the bank leg is the CME lithium carbonate line from March 2024; they are related chemicals, not one contract. The Guangzhou lithium carbonate member leg joins when the GFEX dataset lands. SGX is open interest only, forward from October 2026.
Sector: Metals, Battery and new-energy metals. Units print per row and are never converted. Category definitions are each source's own. Pages render the current corrected vintage of each source; first-release vintages are not kept. An extreme reading is a condition of crowding, not a buy or sell signal.
