CoreWeave will deploy 240 megawatts of AI cloud capacity across three buildings at AdaniConneX's Taloja campus in Navi Mumbai, its first entry into India.

Why it matters: The deal deepens the race to build AI-ready capacity in India and puts Nvidia's Vera Rubin platform at the center of it.

Data as of October 7, 2026. Terms from CoreWeave's company announcement; phase timing from DataCenterDynamics.

CoreWeave announced its entry into India through a collaboration with AdaniConneX, planning 240 megawatts of AI data center capacity across three 80MW buildings at the Taloja campus in Navi Mumbai, with CoreWeave as sole tenant and an option to double capacity to 580MW at the site. The company plans to deploy Nvidia’s Vera Rubin platform for training, inference, reasoning and agentic workloads, and will set up a local office and hire in India.

The first phase is expected to be available in mid-2028, with additional capacity phased in afterward. The move follows CoreWeave’s recent entry into Indonesia and comes as the company reported about 4.2 gigawatts of contracted power as of August.
