SWI Group, the digital-infrastructure investment platform listed on Euronext Amsterdam under the ticker SWICH, announced an €800 million capital increase with institutional investors at a €6.1 billion final valuation.
The increase is realized through the issuance of new ordinary shares in several series, taking total share capital to 558,399,385 ordinary shares. That lifts the total equity raised since March 2026 to more than €1 billion, following a €260 million private placement that month with founder and majority shareholder Max-Hervé George and co-investor Aliya Fund.
Proceeds will support the development and scaling of the group’s data center and AI compute capacity across Europe and the United States, including power infrastructure, compute deployments and execution of its development pipeline on both sides of the Atlantic. The company said the transaction materially strengthens its balance sheet and adds financial capacity to invest further in AI and increase its stake in existing investments, while broadening the institutional shareholder base and lifting free float to about 20 percent of share capital. Some investors receive options on their shares conditional on equity-capital-markets milestones.
Founder and chief executive Max-Hervé George said the transaction was about keeping pace with the compute and data center markets, citing a clear strategy, a substantial pipeline and a strong position on both sides of the Atlantic. The announcement was issued as inside information under the EU Market Abuse Regulation.
