Ramp said on Thursday it has raised 1.85 billion dollars in a round valuing it at 60 billion dollars, co led by Dragoneer Investment Group, Thrive Capital, Founders Fund, Sands Capital and Avenir Growth, TechCrunch reported. The raise comes four months after a 750 million dollar round at a 44 billion dollar valuation and takes total funding to about 5 billion dollars. Ramp said annualised revenue has passed 2 billion dollars, up from a reported 1.5 billion in June, with annualised purchase volume above 275 billion dollars, up 175 percent on a year earlier, and 85,000 customers, up from 70,000 in June. The company has expanded from expense management into payments, procurement and accounting, and now sells AI products including a corporate card designed for AI agents and a model routing service for clients’ inference spend.
Ramp raises 1.85 billion dollars at 60 billion valuation
Ramp said on Thursday it has raised 1.85 billion dollars in a funding round valuing the expense management company at 60 billion dollars, four months after it raised 750 million dollars at a 44 billion dollar valuation.
Why it matters: A 16 billion dollar valuation step up in four months, on annualised revenue above 2 billion dollars, prices Ramp as a financial operations platform selling AI token spend management to the same finance teams it already serves, not as a corporate card company.
