TSMC has raised its outlook again, telling investors to expect full year 2026 revenue growth of close to 40 percent in US dollar terms, up from the roughly 35 percent it guided previously, and forecasting fourth quarter revenue of 42.1 billion to 43.7 billion dollars. The raise follows the record third quarter this site published yesterday, when net profit rose 68 percent year on year.
Guidance from TSMC is not marketing. The company sees the order books of Nvidia, Apple, AMD and Broadcom simultaneously, months ahead of their own reporting, and it has now raised its growth view in consecutive quarters. A near 40 percent growth year, on a revenue base of this size, implies the AI accelerator and high performance computing wave is still steepening rather than plateauing.
The market context makes the raise more pointed. The semiconductors basket in the site tables is down 8.62 percent on the week and Nvidia fell 1.84 percent in the latest session, a tape that has been pricing AI fatigue. TSMC’s order book is the counter argument, delivered with figures.
