Nebius takes 50 megawatts as anchor at Neom Oxagon campus

Nebius has agreed to take up to 50 megawatts at the Oxagon data center under construction at Neom in Saudi Arabia, half of the 100 megawatts now being built, under an agreement signed on October 21 with Humain and DataVolt.

Why it matters: Oxagon's first phase targets 360 megawatts and the full campus 1.5 gigawatts, so an anchor neocloud customer six weeks after construction began is an early test of whether Saudi Arabia can sell AI capacity, not just energy.

Nebius will become an anchor customer at the Oxagon data center at Neom, taking up to 50 megawatts, half of the 100 megawatts currently under construction, under an agreement signed on October 21 with Saudi AI company Humain and developer DataVolt. The capacity is set to come online in phases from the fourth quarter of 2027, with Nebius deploying Nvidia powered computing infrastructure at the site.

Construction at Oxagon began in September. The first phase targets 360 megawatts and the completed campus 1.5 gigawatts, on land leased to DataVolt at Neom’s Oxagon industrial district, with power reported to come from Neom’s wind and solar assets.
