Lithium Argentina said in a filing on Tuesday that it has repurchased $200 million of its convertible senior notes due January 2027 for about $198 million in cash, leaving about $59 million outstanding.

Why it matters: The repurchase, funded in part by Ganfeng Lithium's $180 million strategic investment, removes most of the company's nearest maturity and leaves no other corporate debt due until 2032.

Data as of Lithium Argentina news release dated October 26, 2026, furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to its Form 6-K filed October 27, 2026, accession 0001062993-26-005565, read in full in this run. Developing item.

Lithium Argentina AG said it has repurchased $200 million in aggregate principal of its convertible senior notes due January 2027, in privately negotiated transactions with a limited number of qualified institutional buyers, for approximately $198 million in cash plus accrued interest. The company funded the repurchases with cash on hand, including proceeds of the $180 million strategic investment from Ganfeng Lithium Group that closed on September 15, 2026.

About $59 million of the 2027 notes remains outstanding, and the company said it intends to repay that balance at or before its January 15, 2027 maturity from cash on hand, which exceeded $100 million after the repurchases. Chief executive Sam Pigott said the company has no other corporate-level debt maturing until 2032 and that its Cauchari-Olaroz lithium brine operation in Jujuy province, Argentina, is generating strong cash flow.
