Teradyne reported revenue of 1,306 million dollars for the third quarter of 2026, of which 1,072 million dollars was in Semiconductor Test, 138 million dollars in Product Test and 96 million dollars in Robotics, the company said in its results release on October 27. Revenue rose 70 percent from the 769 million dollars reported a year earlier, and the company said results exceeded the high end of its third quarter guidance, with record revenue in Memory and Integrated Systems Test driven by AI demand.
GAAP net income attributable to Teradyne was 342.4 million dollars, or 2.17 dollars per diluted share. On a non-GAAP basis, net income was 359.9 million dollars, or 2.29 dollars per diluted share, excluding acquired intangible asset amortisation, restructuring and other charges and the related tax effects.
Chief executive Greg Smith said demand extended across the AI value chain, from memory and hard disk drive test to high speed interconnect and robotics, and that robotics delivered its highest third quarter revenue to date and achieved profitability.
For the fourth quarter of 2026, Teradyne guided to revenue of 1,250 million to 1,350 million dollars, with GAAP net income of 1.88 to 2.18 dollars per diluted share and non-GAAP net income of 1.95 to 2.25 dollars per diluted share. The guide implies the AI test cycle holds near record levels into year end rather than rolling over after one exceptional quarter.
