ACG Metals has agreed to acquire Blue Moon Metals' Norwegian business, including a 94.52 percent stake in the Nussir copper project, in an all-share deal valued at $220 million.

ACG Metals has agreed to acquire Blue Moon Norway AS from Blue Moon Metals in an all-share transaction valued at $220 million, Mining.com reported. The purchase includes a 94.52 percent stake in the Nussir copper project near Hammerfest in northern Norway, plus the nearby Ulveryggen deposit and the Sulitjelma copper-zinc district, and values the Norwegian business at about 59 percent of its $375 million broker consensus net asset value.

Nussir is fully permitted and under construction, designed to process about 2 million tonnes of ore a year with first copper concentrate expected in the first half of 2028, and ACG forecasts combined production above 50,000 tonnes of copper equivalent a year by 2029 across Nussir and its Gediktepe mine in Türkiye. ACG expects to complete the acquisition by November 30, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals, with a December 15 long-stop date, and says it still needs to secure financing for the $126 million of Nussir capital spending remaining at completion.
