The US Treasury will run a liquidity support buyback of nominal coupons in the 10 year to 20 year bucket on November 4, with a maximum purchase amount of $6 billion and settlement on November 5.
Why it matters: The operation is the next test of demand for Treasury's liquidity support program after the full $6 billion take in the 20 to 30 year bucket on October 27, and its results will show how much off-the-run paper holders offer in the belly of the long end.
