Princeton Digital Group, the Singapore based data centre operator, has secured approximately 1.3 billion dollars, about 5.1 billion ringgit, in green financing for its JH1 campus in Johor, Malaysia. Six banks underwrote the facility: Affin Bank, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC, Standard Chartered and UOB. Proceeds fund the continued development and expansion of the campus.
JH1 sits in Sedenak Tech Park and is designed as a 200 megawatt campus for high density AI and cloud workloads. The financing is structured under PDG’s Green Finance Framework, and the campus holds Green Building Index Gold certification for design and LEED Gold for operations. This round builds on financing first secured from three banks in April 2024 and upsized with four banks in October 2025.
The transaction counts toward the plan PDG announced in March 2026 to raise up to 5 billion dollars of debt to deliver contracted data centre capacity across Asia Pacific. PDG entered Johor in 2023 and now operates a portfolio above 1.8 gigawatts across eight Asia Pacific markets, backed by Warburg Pincus, the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, Mubadala and Stonepeak.
The deal is the financing counterpart to the demand headlines in this beat. Hyperscaler commitments in Johor, including Google’s 15 billion dollar Malaysian programme covered on November 4, are being matched by multi bank green loans at single campus scale, which is how the region’s capacity gets built without waiting for equity rounds.
