Six people were killed and 15 injured in a shooting on Krakow's main market square on Saturday, Polish police said, in updated figures that raised the earlier toll of five dead.
Why it matters: A mass shooting in the centre of one of Poland's largest cities is a rare and serious public security event, and what the investigation establishes about motive will shape the political response.
